While The International Centre and its team are eagerly anticipating and preparing for the return of larger events, our current focus is now helping our clients create productive and successful meetings for smaller groups of up to 50 guests.  

Conference Centre

Our expansive and customizable spaces of our newly renovated Conference Centre are fully compliant with the Government of Ontario (allowing up to 50 guests for each indoor meeting room or event space) and Public Health requirements for safe capacity restrictions and adequate physical distancing. The 48,000 sq. ft. Conference Centre features 15 multi-purpose meeting rooms and a spacious 17,000 sq. ft. ballroom that supports physical distancing and two-way traffic flow.

We’re excited to have the opportunity to help our clients reimagine their meetings or smaller scale events. In preparing to reopen, we have introduced comprehensive Food & Beverage safety measures and adapted new protocols for banquets and catered functions.

Rest assured, our high quality menu offerings and service won’t change but the way we operate and serve you will allow for every health and safety precaution.

Best Practices Guidelines for Meetings and Events

Our team has been working hard every day to ensure our clients’ meetings and events moving forward will have the highest level of safety and cleanliness. The International Centre recently developed and implemented Best Practices Guidelines for Meetings and Events. Created in consultation with industry experts, local government and public health agencies, these guidelines incorporate rigorous facility operating procedures and protocols that prioritizes physical distancing, enhanced cleaning & disinfecting, staff hygiene and wellness screenings and much more.
