The International Centre announces a strategic decision to assume management of all food and beverage services available at the event facility, effectively concluding the contracts with popular food service providers such as Sodexho Canada.
The International Centre is committed to strengthening the food service for existing trade and consumer show clients as well as their newly sought-after meeting and conference clients, solidifying their reputation as Canada’s premier event facility.
A completely new, state-of-the-art kitchen installation has been built in tandem with construction of their new 42,000 square foot conference centre scheduled for occupancy in fall 2008. The International Centre's objective is to become the best-in-class for food service and overall client support and hospitality.
The International Centre’s new Food & Beverage Department will be headed by Trevor Lui, proudly appointed as Director of Food & Beverage. Lui’s experience consists of over 10 years working within the food service and event management industry at establishments such as the Fallsview Casino, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and the Delta Hotels chain.
Over the past six years, Sodexho Canada has been the exclusive provider of food and beverage services at the International Centre, and their contributions to the International Centre are genuinely appreciated.
